The national drink in the Netherlands used to be beer, but the number of breweries declined sharply during the Golden Age. The brewers were faced with fierce competition. Drinking tea and coffee imported by ships of the Dutch East India Company became all the rage among the well-to-do.
Ingredients of the organic herbal Rembrandt tea: ginger, lemongrass, lemonzest, cinnamon, licorice, mint, clove cardamom and black pepper. The content is 75 grams. This tea was developed with Simon & Lévelt at the Jodenbreestraat, neighbours of the museum.
