This elegant spacious hall was the first room visitors saw when they entered Rembrandt's house. This is obviously the residence of a well-to-do citizen. Next to the entrance hall was the anteroom, Rembrandt's art shop, where he received clients. The floor and columns are real marble, the mantelpiece and door frame however are made of marbled wood, a painting technique fasionable in the 17th century. By the stairs is a tiny office where Rembrandt managed his affairs.

Each card is 10.5 x 15 cm and is made of 280 gram paper.
