Jakob Demus diamond-drypoint
Jakob Demus, an Austrian artist, was in The Rembrandt House Museum in 2005 with the exhibition The Complete Graphic Work 1983 - 2005. Demus generally creates his works by etching, sometimes combining the technique with burin, drypoint or roulette. But his favoured tool is a sharpened diamond, which he uses to incise the design into the copper plate.
